January Birthstone: Garnet

January, the introduction of the new year! Welcome 2022! We hope your year is exactly what the garnet gemstone represents: love, abundance, and strength.

What are you goals this year? Are you starting a new business? Are you getting married? Are you getting out of a situation and need are mustering the strength to follow through this year?

There’s so much to look forward to even with what has happened behind us. Keep up the momentum and get your morning routine setup. Everyone always starts off the year making their new year’s resolution, but we should shift away from that focus, the focus should be better habits for everyday.

But how do you form habits? You start with the discipline– find a way that you are able to do “that thing” everyday (set up alarms, put your yoga mat directly next to your bed so you can roll right to it when you wake up, do everything at the exact same minute/hour everyday!), then you will start to feel the discipline become a habit that you can’t shake!

Really, it’s the best feeling when the hard part doesn’t even register anymore. Then you feel off when you don’t do “the thing.” Before you know it– you did “the thing” and now you can move on to the next task without feeling drained, but instead- energized!
